Florida law establishes two types of probate administration:

• Formal Administration, with which most of this blog deals and

• Summary Administration, for smaller estates [Ch. 735, Part I]
  

Florida law also establishes a non-administration proceeding called "Disposition of Personal Property Without Administration." [Ch. 735, Part II]
